I just recieved a package from Artie Rose of Tone Poems III booklet and CD with Mike Auldridge, Bob Brozman and David Grisman, asking to spread the word on this release. If you're a Reso fan it's a must. The over 40 page color booklet with history and beautiful color shots of Weissenborn - old and new - and Nationals, Dobros, everything, is really-really great, along with a 20 track CD of (of course!) wonderful slide work by these masters.
It's numbered ACD-42 at HTTP://WWW.ACOUSTICDISC.COM
or 800-221-DISC
There's no price on the box.
I think this one will make you smile for a week.

Hey, fellow steelers!! I got my copy of this album yesterday and listened to most of it last night. Don't skip this one, it's a keeper!!
Wonderful pictures and brief notes about the instruments featured on each tune. It's a quick study on the history of acoustic steel guitar, and it seems to cover a whole lotta ground.
The performances are, of course, absolutely fantastic, and the sounds are clear and beautiful.
Thanks for the tip, Ted!!
