As forwarded to me:
CHESTER EVERETT AND HIS RANCH RHYTHMAIRES are
looking for someone to fill the Steel Guitar chair which has just been vacated by Mr. Zach Boddicker. Zach just had too much on his plate and the commitment required by the RRs was just not possible.
So, we're looking for someone willing to live in Denver, play locally, regionally and nationally, record, and have a good time.
Requirements: An appreciation for and interest in Western Swing and Hillbilly Boogie and Bop; ability to play the straight, NOT Pedal Steel Guitar (ALTHOUGH, if there's a standard guitarist out there willing and interested in learning the Steel, we can talk); ability to get along
with others in a band context; and - well, maybe that covers it.
Anyhow, email me privately or call at the number below if you or someone you know might be interested.
Thanks,
Chester Everett mailto:bigk@henge.com

I HIGHLY recommend Chuck Lettes who lives in the Denver(Englewood) area. His left hand is absolute magic! In fact, "Mr. Blue" will be releasing his NEW CD at Scotty's Convention which is titled "Cool Blue Steel" featuring ONLY 6 & 8 string lap steels(in particular he plays ISGA HOF member Dick McIntyre's 1935 Ricky fry-pan). His versions of Herb Remington's "Sweetnin' ", "Sleepwalk", Santana's "Samba Pa Ti", will blow you away. He can be reached at 303 797 1134.
