Not a steel player, but an artist we've all come to love and admire. She never seemed to age. It's hard to think of her as 93. That's a good inning.

Alan, yes, a very good inning (or 9 or more). She was a true original. Checking my iPod, I have renditions from Lena of the classics "Stormy Weather" and "Let It Snow" (x 3), of all things. A great voice and a real talent who will be missed. Thanks for your remembrance. Bill
