Johnny Cox informed me at the TSGA show that Bert Winston died last week. He was the producer for the Tommy Morrell music. Thanks to him we have lots of Tommys music saved. I hope we will still get the new tribute CD that Johnny is playing on.

Bert was a very nice man and a great supporter of western swing. He also produced American Shadows - the Cornell Hurd Band's tribute to Moon Mullican. He helped get a lot of good music recorded.
