Thoughts on Pro Tools 8 ???
I'm about to upgrade from the PT 6.9 I've been quite happy with to version 8, and would love to hear from anyone using 8 about pluses, minuses, glitches. Thanks.

Mark, I had pt 6.9 which I really liked, but I had to upgrade to protools 8 a couple months ago because my old computer died. I think pt 8 is a big improvement. To me it just has a nicer feel to it. There are a few things which may take some getting used to (for me the panning), but overall I think it's better. I really like it.
Best of luck.
Best of luck.

Ptle 8
I'm currently running PTLE7.4x on a PC with XP Pro, but will be upgrading to 8 as soon as I can find the time to do a full backup of my hard drives. The upgrade and new drives are already purchased.
From everything I've read it was very buggy at first with a lot of installation issues, but subsequently has stabilized in more recent versions. I can't wait - the improved midi editing will be a big help for me, plus the added guitar plugs with Music Production Toolkit 2 will also be very welcome!
