Basil - Here's one "Hawaiian" tuning with gauges that you can put on one ugly neck:
C# Minor 7 - tuned E G# B D E G# C# E low to high, gauges low to high .052W .042W .034W
.030W .026W .022W .017 .015 - these are gauges I borrowed from Cindy Cashdollar instructional tapes and DeWitt Scott's tunings website (what's become of Scotty's site BTW?) and are the same gauges I use on my A6 neck. I haven't gone Hawaiian on this C# Mi 7, but you can play "Bootheel Drag" on it! Try this, and have fun.
Basil - me again. That particular set of gauges I laid out earlier can feel a bit slinky on a C#mi7 . . . just drop a few gauges off of each string if you think so, too. I'm using wound strings for fourth strings, BTW, and plain strings for the lightest three. Sorry for the mis-info, but the guitar wasn't in front of me when I wrote you the other day.
