Does anybody know who this pedal steel guitar player with Barbara Fairchild is?
"Barbara Fairchild & Brian Sklar - If It Ain't Love Let's Leave It Alone - No. 1 West (Outro) - 1988"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5iGuU8ao9UA
Whoever he is, at 1:11 minutes in this video, he does some mighty fast, mighty clean palm-blocking!
He's playing a Sho-Bud guitar, if that helps.

It might be the late Randy Reihhard. I believe he was married to Barbara.

The Prairie Fire Band features Rob Anderson on steel Guitar.
I've seen this steel player on a lot of Canadian shows with a lot of different artists. Based on appearance from other sources including:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uRDZs-7dkdA
and the fact that it's Brian Sklar and the Prairie Fire band, I'd say the steel player is Rob.

Nice to see a video with Brian Sklar. I talked to him once. A great guy!

Brian Sklar is a pal of mine, and a great singer, multi-instrumentalist in several different musical genres, and entertainer. And has been for decades, literally.
I called Brian... Rob Anderson is the steel player. He passed away in 2018.
My rig: Infinity and Telonics.
Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg?

Hi Herb,
Thanks for checking with Brian and chiming in.
Sad to hear of Rob's passing away--he sounded great on that video!

Here's my photo of Rob Anderson playing at Jeff Bradshaw's Canadian Steel Guitar Show in Caroline, Alberta.
