Keyless Practice Boards

Post by Sonny Jenkins »

In addition to my keyless lap steels (do a search of several years for pics!) I also make practice boards,,,usually I can limit the length to 1 1/2" or 2" over the scale length, making for a very compact travel guitar. Can do with or wothout pick up and controls, 6-8-10-12 string. Experimenting with an "acoustic" model,,,so as to get enough sound to hear, yet not disturb others. Let me know what you need,,,I'll try to work with you!

You'd probably do better posting a pic or two.

I guess the "size" could classify it as a "practice board",,,,,the pick up makes it a performing lap steel,,,with out an on board volume/tone control. $350-$375,,,,with full controls $450 up, depending on wood, pick up etc.
