I think there's tab available for the fiddle tunes Doug Jernigan has recorded, which include: Black Mtn. Rag, Old Joe Clark, Sugarfoot Rag, and Leather Britches.
Also there's the "Indian Killed a Woodcock/Sugarfoot" medley on the Emmons White Album. And the "Linus/Lucy medley" features a few fiddle tunes (Irish Washerwoman, Orange Blossom and Arkansas Traveler). That's on 'One for the Road'.
The Nashville Bar Association did a crazy version of "Devil's Dream"...
Walter Haynes cut "John Henry" and "Billy in the Lowground" on his old 'Steel Guitar Sounds' LP.
And check out banjo/steel man Bill Keith's 'Beating Around the Bush' release from the mid 90s on Green Linnet. There's a super version of "Cherokee Shuffle" with steel by Gordon Titcomb.
I've got an an old LP by fiddler Robert Herridge, w/ some great steel by Bob Tuttle on tunes like "8th of January", "Jole Blon", "Down Yonder", and "Cotton-Eyed Joe". I think these guys used to play at Gilley's a lot.
And if you can find it, there's an animated film by Bill Plympton (who is also a steelplayer) called The Tune, which features a segment of speedpicking by Larry Campbell, whose latest gig is Dylan sideman. He does "Ragtime Annie" in there.
I love this stuff!
